Blur faces in a photo
Posting a crowd shot, a classroom photo or a screenshot of a chat? Morph finds the faces, or the emails and phone numbers, and hides them in one tap, without sending the picture anywhere.
How to do it
Open the photo in Morph
On a Mac or Windows PC, start dragging it and tap ⌘ (Ctrl on Windows) for the Tools wheel. On iPhone or Android, share it to Morph.
Choose Blur Faces or Hide Personal Info
Blur Faces pixelates every face it finds; Hide Personal Info blacks out emails, phone, card and ID numbers.
Share the redacted copy
It's saved as a new file without location data. The original isn't touched.
Where it works
- Mac Yes, pixelated or solid.
- Windows Yes, pixelated or solid.
- iPhone and iPad Yes.
- Android Yes, with Google's on-device face and text models.
Free and open source. Everything runs on your device: no uploads, no account, no ads, and your originals are never changed.

Can the blur be undone?
No. The faces are averaged down to a coarse grid and redrawn, so the detail is gone from the copy, not just covered.
Does it miss faces?
Small, turned-away or covered faces can be missed. Check the result before you post it.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Detection runs on your device and Morph makes no network requests.
